This short assignment can be used in any exhibition in order to make students feel more comfortable discussing works on display. This exercise is primarily used with classes outside of art disciplines because it allows for students to make connections to their specific course topic by analyzing the works on display. Starting in small groups, each group chooses a work to focus on, then the class joins back together and the small groups are the ones explaining the works on display to everyone else.
