Prepare an Extended Object Label for each of the objects you are addressing in our exhibition. You have been researching your objects and critically considering your role as a curator through the course of the semester. Some students have already begun educating their classmates about the objects appearing in the show. Now it’s time to think about communicating with museum visitors about your objects as they are displayed in the gallery; consider carefully the change of audience. Much like in your test essays and your research paper, your goal here is to integrate RELEVANT DESCRIPTION (Formal Analysis) with CONTEXT (Function, History, Meaning) in order to provide a CRITICAL INTERPRETATION or ANALYSIS for the gallery visitors.
